Outloud ♥ SoundCloud
We are super excited, proud, and happy to announce that our integration with SoundCloud is live!
As 5 million users (and growing) already know, SoundCloud is awesome, and boasts a very impressive music catalog, as well as a vibrant and amazingly talented community. We’ve been huge fans for a while now, and think that this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
Now, when you’re in a room, you can queue a song from SoundCloud by clicking on the “add tracks from Soundcloud” button.
You’ll get a search box where you can search for tracks. Click on “Preview” to hear a preview of the song, or “Queue” to add it to the queue for everyone in the room to hear.
Uploaded tracks and tracks from SoundCloud can be queued together and played seamlessly.
If you add a song from SoundCloud to your Favorites (by clicking the heart as it’s playing) you can find it again easily in your Favorites list, as well as add it to the song queue again in any room!
All tracks from SoundCloud also link back to their original source so you can explore other tracks by the artist or user, add comments, or purchase/download tracks.
